Questions have been raised about how inspections at Dublin airport are being enforced, after reports that a woman who led gardaí on a high-speed chase from Dublin to Bray and back again 10 days ago, appears to have gone on holidays in Spain – in breach of COVID rules.
24 year old Gemma Greene, from Coolock in Dublin, posted a live-stream video of herself being chased down the M50 by gardaí on the 1st of March.
She was arrested in Ballymun and released from custody the next day, to appear before Dublin District Court later this month. However, according to several media reports she posted a picture of herself and a male friend two days ago, claiming to be on holidays in Barcelona, despite Level 5 restrictions currently banning international travel for non-essential reasons.
