Last Sunday saw the crew respond to 3 callouts, two of which occurred in Wicklow. At approximately 3pm the team were tasked by the National Ambulance Service with helping a 51 year old male who was suffering from an anaphylactic shock as a result of an insect bite in the Devil's Glen. The NAS were the primary medical providers for this callout, with MR personnel assisting with a stretcher carry. The incident was stood down at 5:22pm. They were later tasked by the NAS at approximately 4pm for a female with a lower leg injury near Glenealo Bridge, Glendalough. The walker was treated, packaged, and stretchered down to an awaiting ambulance at the Miner's Village. The incident was stood down at 6:43pm.
