Ireland is on track to eliminate cervical cancer by 2040.
That's according to the Minister for Health, who says we're one of a small number of countries in a position to set the date.
Stephen Donnelly says 2040 is a positive date, especially considering recent scandals surrounding cervical screenings in the country.
He says good progress is being made in a number of areas:
