Wicklow is among the cleanest towns in the country, according to the final litter survey of 2019 by business group Irish Business Against Litter.
The town shares joint 8th position with Ennis, out of 40 towns and cities around the country, an improvement on last year’s summer survey.
However the survey showed overall litter levels in Ireland’s towns were up on a year ago.
The town of Kilkenny topped the litter rankings for a fourth time setting a new record along the way.
