A 14 year old from County Wicklow is in the running for the title of Ireland’s Young Filmmaker of the Year, with a film about the pandemic.
Eric Peterson from Kilbride has been named as a Leinster finalist in the competition with his short film ‘Monotony’, which was chosen for the national finals in the Junior category. The film focuses on how the Covid 19 pandemic has impacted on a teenager’s day to day life.
The competition is part of the Fresh International Film Festival which will take place from Monday the 22nd of March until Sunday the 28th of March.The finals will be streamed live on YouTube with the Junior Finals taking place on Thursday the 25th with the Seniors Finals being held the following day.
