Commuters travelling between Wicklow and Dublin are being warned of significant disruption to rail services over the Easter weekend.
From Saturday April 4th to Easter Monday April 6th, DART services between Connolly Station and Dún Laoghaire Station will be suspended while a series of major engineering works take place.
The works include overhead line renewal, platform upgrades and retaining wall repairs along the route.
For Wicklow commuters, this means normal DART travel into the city will not operate through the affected section.
-
DART services will run between Greystones and Dún Laoghaire
-
Separate services will operate between Howth/Malahide and Connolly
Passengers travelling between the two sections will need to use alternative transport options, with Leap Cards accepted on other TFI services in the area, subject to capacity.
Meanwhile, Intercity services between Dublin Connolly Station and Rosslare Europort will involve bus transfers between Connolly and Bray, operating to a revised timetable.
Passengers travelling from Bray, Greystones and other North Wicklow stations are being advised to allow extra time for journeys into Dublin over the holiday weekend.
