Wicklow Sinn Féin TD John Brady has called on Wicklow County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland to conduct an urgent safety review.
The TD wants the groups to look into the danger posed to motorists by the increased numbers of deer on the N11 and M11, following reports of a number of accidents and near misses along the road.
Speaking on the issue, John Brady TD says that the majority of incidents have occurred in the Newtown area.
