Fianna Fáil is accusing the government of under reporting its overspend on health this year.
At a meeting of the Oireachtas Health Committee, junior minister Jim Daly said the department needed 338 million euro extra this year.
However, Fianna Fáil's health spokesperson Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly claims the figure is more like 450 million.
Deputy Donnelly says the government can’t afford to make any further mistakes regarding the health service.
