Wicklow is the cream of the crop, as Tirlán celebrates excellence, innovation, and commitment among family farm milk suppliers.
A farming family from Co. Wicklow were among those recognised at this year's Tirlán Dairy and Sustainability Awards. The Mooney family of Reynoldstown Farm, based near Ashford, received the Avonmore Fresh Milk Supplier Award.
The accolade recognises consistent delivery of high-quality fresh milk to the Avonmore brand, supported by strong milk hygiene standards and year-round production.
Twelve award winners were honoured across a variety of categories at the event this week
Commenting at the awards, Tirlán Chairperson John Murphy said:
Today is about recognising the hard work, care and commitment shown on family farms right across our regions. Our suppliers continue to set the standard in quality and sustainability, and that is something we are immensely proud of. Their dedication is what truly sets Irish dairy apart, both at home and on the global stage.
