Over €500,000 in Sports Capital Grants have been allocated for six clubs in Wicklow.
The recent round of funding was released under the appeals process after over 50 clubs across the county received over 3.7 million euro under the scheme in February.
The successful clubs include:
·Baltinglass Town (Boys) AFC Dressing Rooms €74,446.81
·Wicklow Dominican Convent Secondary School Installation of an astroturf hockey pitch in DCW Hockey €181,067.41
·Fifth Wicklow Bray Sea Scouts Den Renovation – Refurbishment of Showers/Toilets Hillwalking €21,481.01
·Greystones Lawn Tennis Club Supply and erect airdome over 3 existing courts Tennis €119,338.94
·Lacken-Kilbride GFC Club House Construction including Public Toilets Gaelic Games €150,000.00
