3 projects for County Wicklow have been included within the HSE’s Capital Plan for 2024.
Under the 2024 Plan, Co. Wicklow will see progress on:
- Baltinglass Community Hospital with the development of six single en-suite bedrooms and the construction of a new Day Care building.
- The tendering and establishment of a 95 bed CNU as per the Service Priority List at St. Coleman’s in Rathdrum.
- Purchasing a site for a new Primary Care Centre in Greystones from Wicklow County Council and creation of initial designs.
In a statement, Taoiseach Simon Harris said he is "keenly aware of the need for such a service in Greystones, and the many benefits a Primary Care Centre could bring to the local community. Over the coming months, I will work with the HSE to ensure that these projects in the 2024 Capital Plan progress as soon as possible.”
