Wicklow On Display As Tourist Officials Look To Boost Figures At Trade Event

Tourism officials are hopeful that the number of visitors to Ireland this year will be 80 percent of pre-pandemic levels.

Failte Ireland and Tourism Ireland are holding a major tourism trade event in Killarney with Powerscourt Distillery among the sites on display from County Wicklow. 

 Meitheal sees over 400 Irish businesses pitching to buyers and tour operators in 19 different countries.

It's the first time it's been held in-person since the pandemic, which Tourism Minister Catherine Martin hopes will help boost the sector's recovery this Summer
