Wicklow Mud Product Facing Ban In US

A Wicklow company appears to have taken the U.S. by storm, with a new body cleaning product, using clay from the garden county.

Mudpack soap is made from a soft cleaning agent and pure earth from the garden county.

The company….. Flair Pool says the product combination provides essential minerals from the clay, which also acts as an exfoliator.

Sales for the product, which is only available on a shopping channel in the states, have already surpassed expectations. However the US government appears to be concerned that clay in a product could be breaching import rules and has launched an investigation, which could scupper the growth of the Wicklow company.
