The Health Minister has said it’s unhelpful to speculate about what the final cost of the National Children's Hospital will be.
Earlier this week an Oireachtas committee was told that the cost of the project could top €2 billion.
The contractor, BAM, has submitted approximately seven hundred and fifty million in cost claims which threatens to escalate the cost, however the Department of Health say they dispute the majority of these.
Minister Stephen Donnelly says he wants the Children's Hospital completed as soon as possible.
