Wicklow Minister Stephen Donnelly will join a total of 35 ministers and ministers of state travelling abroad for meetings and events related to St Patrick’s Day.The Health Minister will travel to Australia, visiting the cities of Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney, where a significant cohort of Irish healthcare graduates have emigrated in recent years.The theme for 2024 will be ‘Ireland’s Future in the World’, with a focus on young people, and building on progress during the first century of our independence.The Cathaoirleach of Bray Municipal District, Melanie Corrigan, together with Councillor Aoife Flynn Kennedy and District Manager Lorraine Gallagher, will be representing the district at the St Patrick’s Day parade in the US city of Dublin, California.Dublin, California, which has a population of 72,932 has been twinned with Bray since 1985. This partnership was reaffirmed in March 2023.
