A new survey from the Real Estate Alliance has found the price of an average three-bed semi detached house in Wicklow is expected to rise by 5 per cent over the next 12 months.
Prices in the county saw an overall increase of 10,000 euro between September and December which represents a rise of 3.5 percent. The demand in Bray outstripped the supply of suitable homes as listings in the town increased by 15,000 to 350,000 euro.Wicklow Town prices rose by 10,000 to 320,000 euro – an increase of 3.23%, while Baltinglass saw a rise of 5.71 percent to 185,000 euro. In the north east prices rose by an average of 4,000 to 310,000, while prices in Blessington remained steady at 295,000. The average time taken to sell in the county has fallen from 10 weeks in September to six weeks at the end of December.
