Wicklow Health Minister Looking At Ways To Provide Accomodation For Healthcare Workers

The Health Minister says providing accommodation for healthcare workers on or near hospital grounds is being actively considered.

Wicklow TD Stephen Donnelly says discussions are underway between his department, and the HSE, about where they might invest.

INMO members unanimously passed a motion at its annual conference this afternoon, which called on the Government to fund purpose-built onsite accommodation.

Minister Donnelly says options for hospitals worst-affected by accommodation shortages are being considered.
