Wicklow County Council Install 9 New Bus Shelters Across The County

3 have been installed in the Arklow Municipal district area at Knockmore and Ferrybank in Arklow and one in Rathdrum.

A further 3 have been erected in the Wicklow Municipal district at Balinalea, Newtownmountkennedy and Wicklow Town.

While 3 more will benefit commuters at Killincarrig, Applewood Heights and on the Mill Road in Greystones.

A further 5 will be provided in the Baltinglass Municipal District shortly.

Funding has been provided through the Community Enhancement Programme where €75,000 was allocated specifically for shelters.
