Wicklow County Council Announce Annual Tidy Town And Environmental Awards

The awards recognise best practice projects in a range of topics covering Climate Action, biodiversity, protection of resources and prevention of waste.

Hollywood, Dunlavin and Greystones were judged best in the county during the summer with litter management deemed excellent.

Tidy town groups in Ballycoog and Blessington were praised for their landscaping and gardening work, while Scoil Realt na Mara in Brittas Bay and the Sacred Heart in Aughrim were among the schools commended for mobilising citizen engagement for Climate Action.
