Wicklow Can Expect Strong Winds & Wave Overtopping All Day.

Strong winds are hitting Ireland as part of Storm Noa.

 

Strong winds are hitting Ireland as part of Storm Noa.

It has been named by the French Met Office with a status yellow warning in place for 20 counties, including Wicklow.

The alert runs until eight o'clock tonight.

Gusts of 80 to 110 km/h are expected, which will be stronger in coastal areas and over high ground. We are also being told to expect wave overtopping in coastal areas.
