Children's Book's Author, Alan Nolan, has been awarded the Annual Children's Books Ireland Award for his 'outstanding contribution to children's literature.'
Alan Nolan, who is based in Bray, County Wicklow, has been recognised for his outstanding contribution to children’s literature, as he received the Annual Children’s Books Ireland Award at the Children's Books Ireland International Conference held in Dublin’s Light House Cinema at the weekend.
Dublin born Alan was presented with the award by Laureate na nOg, Patricia Forde who described him as “one of the most hard-working and generous writers working in Ireland.”
Alan is known for novels such as 'The Riddle of the Disappearing Dickens', 'The Curious Case of the Irish Yeti' and 'Double Trouble at the Dead Zoo.'
