A campaign group is calling on members of the public in West Wicklow to tell them why having a swimming pool would be important to them.
A pool for the Baltinglass Municipal District has been named as a priority project under the County Council’s Capital Plan, with 50,000 euro being allocated for a feasibility study taking place this year.
The plan includes a number of large- scale projects that will be prioritised over the next five years, and has opened for a period of public consultation until the 16th of August.
The Draft County Development Plan can be viewed online here.
The deadline for submissions is Monday August 16th at 5pm.
