Steven Matthews TD has been liaising with Bus Eireann on the 132 service reliability and frequency.
Following his latest contact with the CEO of Bus Eireann, Deputy Matthews said
“I have good news for residents of Baltinglass, Kiltegan, Blessington and surrounding areas as the Bus Eireann 132 route is set to more than double its frequency this September. This will be welcomed by the many residents who contacted me seeking a better public transport service for West Wicklow. With the doubling of the 132 service along with the introduction of two new local link services (892 Dunlavin-Newbridge & 885 Baltinglass-Sallins) we are seeing real improvement and options for residents in areas that never had a regular reliable bus before. There is more work to be done and I have a greater ambition that every town will have a bus service ‘every town, every hour’.
