Credit and debit card fraud in Ireland has reached record levels, with consumers being warned to shop safely online.
New figures from the Banking & Payments Federation show card fraud rose by 9 percent in 2020, the vast majority of it was online.
Consumers and the banks lost 24 million euro to fraudsters last year.
