Investigations are continuing into a fatal stabbing in Arklow early yesterday morning.
Gardai and emergency services were called to a house at the Cresent, in Meadowvale in Arklow at around half past twelve yesterday morning.
A 37 year old man, named locally as Stephen Kavanagh was found with serious injuries and was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital in Dublin where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
A man in his 40s arrested by Gardaí investigating the case is expected to appear before a sitting of Bray District Court this evening.
