The remains of a man have been found in a park in south county Dublin.
Gardai believe the remains found in Blackrock Park had been there for some time.
The body has been removed for a post mortem exam, and the scene remains sealed off for a technical examination this afternoon.
Gardai say results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
