    UPDATE: Boil Water Notice Lifted For Residents In West Wicklow

    Following the completion of remedial measures and the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results, the boil water notice issued on Monday, 13 March is now lifted with immediate effect.

    The notice was originally issued due to turbidity impacting the treatment processes at the water treatment plant.

    The notice was put in place to protect the health of approximately 8,500 customers supplied by the scheme in Palatine, Killerig/Grange, Rathvilly, South of the River Slaney in Tullow Town and Ballymurphy Road, Ardattin, Ballon, Tankardstown, Rathoe, Bennekerry and surrounding areas in Co Carlow; also Castledermot, Davidstown, Graney, and surrounding areas in Co Kildare; and Liscolman, Ballyconnell and surrounding areas in Co Wicklow.

    All consumers on the Carlow North Regional Public Water Supply can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
