A new scheme allowing undocumented migrants to officially reside in Ireland is being described as historic.
It's open for the next six months and is expected to benefit around 17,000 people.
Since it opened this morning, undocumented migrants have been celebrating their applications to this new scheme.
To qualify, they need to have lived in Ireland for 4 years without immigration permission - or 3 years if they have children under 18.
They can also include a spouse, partner and children aged between 18 and 23 in their application.
There's a fee of €550 for a single person - or €700 for a family.
The scheme will remain open until the end of July.
