Adam Doyle and Rhianna Meagher from Bray were part of a team that developed SeaGreen- environmentally friendly seaweed packaging for groceries.
The packaging is a bio plastic made from seaweed which was developed by the group as an innovative way to tackle plastic waste pollution in oceans and landfills.
Nine teams developed their innovation, pitch and presentation over the course of the past week and competed in front of an audience of experts, peers and judges at Trinity College Dublin before they were crowned the winner.
