17 year-old Alanna Quinn Idris suffered a ruptured eyeball as well as broken bones in her face during the attack close to the Civic Offices on Ballyfermot Road last Thursday night.A male friend also received knife wounds during the assault.
Two men in their late teens were arrested this morning following searches by Gardaí and are being held at Garda stations in west Dublin.
Gardaí are again appealing for witnesses who were in the area at the time to come forward.
