Two men in their 20’s have been charged after drugs worth almost €178,000 and a large amount of cash was seized in Wicklow and Dublin over the weekend.
€46,000 worth of cannabis herb and over 9 and a half thousand euro in cash was seized, after Gardai stopped a vehicle on the Skerries Road in Rush in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Further searches were carried out at residential properties in Rush and in Baltinglass and Blessington in County Wicklow.
€121,000 worth of cannabis was found in six large packages, with smaller amounts of cannabis worth 5 and a half thousand euro, MDMA worth €3,000 and cocaine worth €2,500.
