Funding for a new campus at Gaelcholáiste na Mara and Gaelscoil an Inbhir Mhóir was put on hold temporarily after first receiving planning permission in 2022.
The planned new development at Kilbride in Arklow has now been sanctioned to move to construction.
The plans for Gaelscoil an Inbhir Mhóir include a two-storey, 16-classroom primary school building, with two special needs rooms and ancillary spaces capable of accommodating more than 480 pupils.
For Gaelcholáiste na Mara the project will deliver a three-storey school building with two special needs rooms and a PE hall aimed at serving more than 400 students.
