Gardaí say investigations are ongoing after one man was arrested following a drugs seizure in Bray at the weekend.
€40,000 of suspected cannabis herb was seized along with other drug paraphernalia, following a search in the Bray area on Saturday afternoon, as part of Operation Tara.
A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested and was taken to Bray Garda Station for questioning.
Elsewhere a man's due in court today, after 160 thousand euro worth of drugs were seized in Cork.
Gardai searched a car in the city on Friday and found cannabis with a value 40 thousand euro.
During a follow-up search at Whitescross 120 thousand euro of the drug was discovered.
The man in his 30s will appear before Cork District Court at half ten this morning.
