The Teachers Union of Ireland is calling on the Department of Education to bring in a protocol to protect teachers from lobbying over Leaving Cert marks.
It's after the TUI and the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland both backed replacing this year's Leaving Cert exams with calculated grades, because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
