Timmins Eliminated As Count In Wicklow Reduced To Six Fighting For Four Seats

The results for the13th count are expected here at the shoreline leisure centre in Greystones, which saw the redistribution of Fine Gael’s Billy Timmin’s 5813 ballot papers, who was eliminated.

John Brady for Sinn Fein was elected on the 1st count with a surplus of almost 5,500 first preferences. Social Democrat Jennifer Whitmore is now just a little over 400 votes off the quota of 11,887 and  could be declared elected to the second seat in Wicklow following this latest transfer count.

That will see a fight for the last three seats between Simon Harris, Stephen Donnelly, Stephen Matthews and Andrew Doyle or Joe Behan
