Thunderstorms On The Way For Wicklow This Afternoon.

We are being told to expect "intense showers with scattered thunderstorms and possible hail".

Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for six counties, including Wicklow.

The warning is in place for Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Wexford, and Wicklow, from 1pm this afternoon until 7pm tonight.

We are being told to expect "intense showers with scattered thunderstorms and possible hail".

Possible impacts of the weather include spot flooding and hazardous travelling conditions.
