A war of words has erupted between local authorities in Wexford and Waterford over the Rosslare to Waterford Greenway.
The Chairman of Wexford County Council has accused his Waterford counterparts of creating difficulties by pausing the greenway development to allow for a strategic review into the potential return of the rail line to full traffic use.
Wexford’s Ger Carthy tabled a motion for Wexford to proceed with the plan in their county.
Councillor Carthy says the delay is not acceptable.
