10 sports organisations from the Wicklow area are to benefit from over 30,000 worth of funding to help local communities stay fit and healthy during the pandemic.
Bray Emmets and Kiltegan GAA Clubs along with the Blessington Community First Responder Unit are among 379 community organisations and schools nationwide that will share in over 1.4 million euro worth of funding from Intel’s Matching Grant Scheme.
The American multinational launched the scheme 13 years ago with the aim of rewarding organisations with donations as a result of voluntary work carried out by their employees.
