Temple Carrig School’s additional school accommodation application has been approved.
This morning, An Taoiseach Simon Harris confirmed that Temple Carrig School’s additional school accommodation application has been approved.
Today’s approval will provide the school with a general classroom, a music room, a textiles room, and art room, a graphics room, a multimedia room, a science lab, a science prep area, two technology and shared prep areas and three classroom SEN bases.
Speaking this morning, the Taoiseach said:
“I am delighted to confirm that Temple Carrig’s extension has the green light.
“I know just how badly additional school infrastructure is needed in Greystones, and today’s progress brings us one step closer to providing our community with the support and services it needs.”
“Every one of our students deserve a high quality education, and this extension will go a long way towards delivering this for our young people”.
“After working closely with the Department of Education and the school community, I am glad to see real progress made here”.
