The CEO of Sunbeam House Services has issued a statement to Wicklow media, which refutes newspaper reports that admin staff were told to cheat the HSE’s Covid-19 Vaccine registration process to get vaccinated ahead those on the high priority list.
Joe Lynch says two communications were sent to staff instructing them to register in accordance with HSE guidelines. He says it clearly stated they should clarify the two separate categories under which frontline and Support or Admin staff were to apply.
His statement was in response to claims a non frontline whistleblower at Sunbeam claimed they were told to misrepresent themselves on the HSE’s portal.
All staff at Sunbeam were vaccinated at the same time in February.
