Motorists in Wicklow and surrounding counties are being urged to exercise care particularly on secondary routes, after persistent showers yesterday and overnight, has left spot flooding in places.
The Coast road between Wicklow town and Arklow is affected at a number of locations. A number of major routes in the south of the country also remain impassable this morning due to flooding. Large areas have been impacted after rivers burst their banks.
