After a lengthy campaign the new skate park in Bray has finally had its official opening ceremony.
The Bray Skateboarding Association were given the green light for a new skate park at a council meeting last February.
Construction of the skate park began over the summer and was finally completed by the end of July.
The opening event was attended by all the councillors who played a role in its development, including Erika Doyle who says it will play an important role in the local community.
