The 21 acre site has sold at auction for €613,000, a discount to the €700,000 that Paddy McKillen Jr reportedly paid for it.
Three bidders competed at the auction and the price achieved was €63,000 over its guide price of €550,000.
Wicklow County Council was among the unsuccessful bidders.
Planning permission was sought for the development of a boutique holiday resort and surf school on the lands.
That development would have included an integrated tourism/leisure, recreational complex along with 48 accommodation pods.
Wicklow County Council refused planning permission for it in May 2023 and when appealed, An Bord Pleanála upheld the council’s decision.
