Shortfall In Primary And Special Teachers In Schools Around Wicklow-INTO

An Irish National Teachers' Organisation Survey shows there are 951 vacant posts nationwide.

Schools are increasingly asking unqualified or teachers who aren't registered with the Teaching Council to cover some absences.

The INTO has described it as an enormous crisis.
