Safety Speed Signs Installed In Roundwood.

The signs are solar powered and provide a large flashing warning to drivers to slow down to 30kph.

New 30kph solar powered flashing signs have been installed at St Laurence’s school in Roundwood.

Green Party TD Steven Matthews said,

”Due to reports of road safety issues to me, I met last year with the school principal, parents and local residents to see how we could make it safer for children and parents to get to school."

The signs are solar powered and provide a large flashing warning to drivers to slow down to 30kph. These will be rolled out to other school areas across the county.
