Wicklow County Council and Arklow Christmas Festival are celebrating young storytellers who entered the 'My Christmas Story' competition.
Ronan Russell is this year's overall winner. His imaginative tale featuring the Avoca River and 19 Arches Bridge captured the judges’ hearts.
The competition is held by Arklow Municipal District in partnership with the Arklow Christmas Festival.
Ronan received a special gift pack at Arklow Library and had the exciting honour of switching on the town’s Christmas lights!
Congratulations to Ronan, runners-up Millie and Julianna (pictured) and all the talented children who shared their magical stories this year.

Emer O’Gorman, Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, praised the young participants, saying:
