The RNLI is warning people to take care when taking part in activities in the sea after a busy weekend in Wicklow and South Dublin.
Yesterday Arklow RNLI were called out to help a Kayaker, who despite being well equipped, found herself in difficulties south of the outer Roadstone Breakwater.
Meanwhile Dun Laoghaire RNLI was called to three separate incidents at the Forty Foot and White Rock at Killiney beach.
Three swimmers were hospitalised after getting into difficulty.
