Reports Say Arcadia Group On the Verge of Collapse

It’s being reported today that a major retail empire in Britain is facing collapse within days, threatening the future of 15,000 jobs and bringing the curtain down on a number of  high street outlets.

Sky News is reporting that Sir Philip Green’s  Arcadia Group - which owns TopShop, Burton and Dorothy Perkins - is preparing to appoint administrators from Deloitte as soon as next week.

It’s understood talks with a number of lenders about an emergency £30m loan, ended without success.
