A pop up facility has been stationed on the site of St Kevin’s Community Hall in the town in recent months after Wicklow County Council secured funding from Swim Ireland to provide the service
Campaign Spokesperson Deirdre McCormack says demand has increased to have a permanent pool in the area.
Officials will meet with representatives from Wicklow County Council in the new year to decide how best to move the project forward.
