The cost of remedial works at dozens of schools with building defects, including Greystones Educate Together National School, has reached 40 million euro.
That includes the cost for initial assessments of the schools, precautionary measures like scaffolding and fencing, repair works and fire safety upgrades.
Repairs are still being carried out at the schools built by Western Building Systems.
Around 40 schools around the country were identified as having structural defects following a review last year including Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath in Greystones.
Remediation work has been completed at 14 of them - and is due to start on another 8 in the new year.
Minister Joe Mc Hugh insists no other projects will be impacted by the money spent on the repairs:
